So I was “tagged” by my oldest friend Emily to come up with 6 “interesting things about me.” Well, since I’m not all that interesting I am sharing my “top 10 favorite memories with Emily.”
1. Making broccoli soup and lemon bars (as long as they didn't taste like mayonaise) and then eating them in the circle stairwell at my house while playing Rummicub.
2. Playing dress up in your parent’s bedroom that involved your mom’s scarves from Israel and the names “Steve and Diane”.
3. Going to dance class at Miss Vicki’s then going to the Hostess Grocery Store, followed by a visit to your grandparents’ to eat orange sherbet and play with the dolls from different countries
4. Showbiz Kids Cruise---we made you sleep on the top bunk
5. Learning to drive with your dad in the church parking lot
6. EFY in Williamsburg (pretending we were looking at east coast colleges)—peanut butter soup and sippits at the tavern
7. Surviving 2 Earthquakes---1 in my bathroom and the other in Jamie’s guest house
8. Almost drowning at Laguna Beach when you fell in a tide pool hole and then going to Big River in our gym clothes
9. When I ran over your sprinkler head, creating a geyser at your X-mas party senior year
10. Hiking up Rock Canyon with you and Christy in the Snow

I am so honored. I was laughing out loud. Especially thinking about going to Big River in stinky PE clothes. I think that is the same show where somebody "traf-ed" as the Packer family would say it. Or is that "gat". No I think "gat" is the real stuff. I can remember distinctly somebody yelling, "Katie's got gat!" You are such a huge part of my life. I love telling Brian and my kids things I remember about crazy stuff we did. My last one was how Danny Bush's car got hit on La Canada Blvd. I also said this week- "TTToday junior!" It took me forever to figure out what it was from. It wasn't until that night and we had sloppy joes that I remembered. I'll let you just fester about it for awhile and see if you know what it was from. I love you! Thanks for great memories.
You are both so fun! Sara, its fun to read your blog and see your cute little guy....Emily, I didnt know you have a blog--I'd love to see it!
